Tombak example of a pilot badge made by the company C.E. Juncker Berlin SW. This example is the so called J3. The eagle with practically all of the dark finish remaining and the wreath with all of the silver plate and some patina. On the reverse it has a named scratched into the metal.

Cased Bomber Clasp in Silver
Clasp is made from Tombak. It is not maker marked but it is a known variation. The bomb has most of its dark finish. Case is embossed in gold on top of the lid is “Frontflugspange für Kampfflieger silver”. The inside of the case is sprayed with beige felt and the inside of the lid is covered with white satin.

Luftwaffe Award Documents - Feldwebel Lothar Darsow
He was awarded the German Cross in Gold ( DKiG ) on the 29th March 1944 and the Lufwaffe Honour Goblet ( Ehrenpokal ) for outstanding achievement in the air war on the 24th April 1944. He was KIA South-East of Sevastopol, Russia on 24th April 1944.
