Cased Bomber Clasp in Bronze A cased example of a bomber clasp in bronze awarded for twenty combat missions. Clasp is made from Tombak. It is not maker marked but it is a known variation. The bomb has most of its dark finish. Case is embossed in gold on top of the lid is “Frontflugspange für Kampfflieger bronze”. The inside of the case is sprayed with beige felt and the inside of the lid is covered with white satin. Both case and clasp in very good condition.

Heer Wehrpass & Award Document - Oberfähnrich Wilhelm Kraft Oberfähnrich Kraft was an Officer candidate serving with a tank destroyer unit. In between Officer training he served with Panzerjäger-Abteilung 211 which was part of Infanterie Division 211 operating in Russia between June 1942 and June 1944. In August of 1942 he was wounded by shrapnel to his left hand and was awarded the Wound Badge in Black on the 20th September 1942. He was also entitled to the General Assault Badge which was awarded on the 22nd June 1943 and the Iron Cross 2nd Class which was awarded on the 20th February 1944. On the 21st June 1944 he was shot in the belly and died the same day in the Brest-Litowsk military hospital, Russia. He was awarded the Iron Cross 1st Class posthumously. Iron Cross 1st Class citation awarded to Oberfähnrich Wilhelm Kraft on the 22nd June 1944 of 1./Panzerjäger-Abteilung 211. Ink signature of General Gustav Höhne ( Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross on 30th June 1941 as Generalmajor and commander of 8. Luftwaffe Award Document - Feldwebel Lothar Darsow Front flight clasp for bomber crew in gold with hanger citation awarded to Feldwebel Lothar Darsow of 8./Schlachtgeschwader 3 on the 30th April 1944. Ink signature of Generalleutnant Paul Deichmann ( Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross on 26 March 1944 as Generalleutnant and commanding general of the II. Fliegerkorps. ) In addition to the afore mentioned decoration Lothar Darsow was also awarded the German Cross in Gold ( DKiG ) on the 29th March 1944 and the Lufwaffe Honour Goblet ( Ehrenpokal ) for outstanding achievement in the air war on the 24th April 1944. Luftwaffe Award Document - Unteroffizier Hans Scheuenstuhl Front flight clasp for bomber crew in bronze citation awarded to Unteroffizier Hans Scheuenstuhl of 8. K.G. "Hindenburg" 1 on the 23rd February 1942. Ink signature of then Generalmajor Karl Angerstein ( Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross on 2 November 1940 as Geschwaderkommodore of Kampfgeschwader "Hindenburg" 1 ). Also ink stamped for Kampfgeschwader Hindenburg 1. Here are some more details regarding Unteroffizier Hans Scheuenstuhl and his crew. The registration of the plane he flew in was V4+AS. He served as an observer. The pilot was Oberfeldwebel Racskowski, the wireless operator was Klaus Metzger and the gunner was Josef Wagner. The above crew flew over 200 combat missions. They did not return from the last bombing mission and since that time are missing in Russia. Condition 2.

Luftwaffe Flight Tunic This Luftwaffe Feldwebel flight tunic has three sets of award loops on left breast pocket, one set above left breast pocket for a flight clasp or ribbon bar and a set of award loops for a DK/SK on the right breast pocket. Luftwaffe Flight Tunic Obergefreiter This Luftwaffe Obergefreiter tunic has a ribbon for EK II sewn in the first button hole. Tunic is stamped with maker mark for "Reitz", year LBA(S) 38 and unit "Aufklärungs Gr. 14". Tunic shows wear with some moth damage in places. Iron Cross 2nd Class citation awarded to Gefreiten Schmergal von der V. (Z)/ L.G. 1 on the 29th September 1939. Ink signature of Generalmajor Helmuth Förster ( Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross on 22nd February 1942 as Kommandierender General des I. Fliegerkorps ). Iron Cross 1st Class citation awarded to Gefreiten Karl Schmergal 14./(Zerstorer) Lehrgeschwader 1 on the 29th August 1940 original ink signature of Generalfeldmarschall Hugo Sperrle ( Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross on 17 May 1940 as General der Flieger and chief of Luftflotte 3 ). Each citation has been folded once and hole punched. Condition 2.

He was awarded the Lufwaffe Honour Goblet ( Ehrenpokal ) for outstanding achievement in the air war on the 8th November 1943 and the German Cross in Gold ( DKiG ) on the 16th April 1944.

Royal Dublin Fusilier Trio 1914-15 Star, British War medal and Victory medal, each of which are marked to a 15276 Pte H.W.Barber R.Dub.Fus. MIC states first name as Henry. He also served in the Labour Corps as a Pte 492904. The index card also states he served in the 2B Balkans theatre of war with an entry date of 7/8/15. Silver War Badge Roll gives him as 506 Company, Labour Corps and mentions ex-RDF. Shows enlisted 12/9/1914 and discharged 16/9/1918, age 39, as a result of sickness.
